Hi, I’m Callum…

Director and videographer at Fitzjohn media!

Here’s where I tell you all about me - I’ll be looking after you from the start of preproduction through to the final result, so let’s get to know each other.

Whether you’re a planner for a local concert, the owner of a motorsport team or anyone else looking for coverage for an event, I’d love to hear from you. I’m always up for new and exciting projects, so if you’re looking for support, I’m here!

My approach to filmmaking captures the raw, authentic story of your event. For the last 3 years, I’ve loved creating beautiful looking films that have an impact not only visually, but also by engraving the memories of the day into the content.

My Creative Style…

Events are the absolute pinnacle of videography for me! The environment of events are so varied, and between the electric vibe of a concert, and the soft beauty of weddings, every gig is a completely different experience. I love it!

My relaxed doc style of filming results in lovely images, as well as real substance in the content I create (without any of the awkward interactions). I often hear in feedback that I feel more like a guest at the event that so happens to be good at taking videos!

What We Do for you

  • Before the day of the event, our team will craft a personalised brief for your project requirements, including items like a mood board, shot list, final expectations etc. We’ll then organise a pre-production call with you to run through these project requirements and to jump on the same page in regards to them. This also gives you a chance to meet us properly before the big day.

  • In our personal opinion, the most exciting part of any shoot! On the day(s), our team will turn up with our in house equipment and begin to start setting up. Based on the brief, coverage could be anywhere from a couple hours to a full day of shooting, whether that's photo, video, or both. This is also a great opportunity to catch up in person, and to double check everything looks good with the project.

  • After the big day, we’ll get busy editing all the photos/footage we got during the event. This is such a vast area that it’s hard to include everything we offer here, but this is generally the required corrections for things like exposure, as well as more complex colour grading on top. Both the edit, and the turnaround time will be tailored to your project in the initial stages.

  • Videos/Photos will be delivered through a link via email. Prints for photos are available at an additional cost and will be posted straight to your door.
